  • Today we completed the robot and here are the picture of the finished product:

     

  • Today we put a program on the robot that currently makes it go forward, and got a replacement motor that works better than the one that we already had.

  • Today we completed a second gear system that we can put a second set of stilts on the back for. At the moment we still need to figure out a build to put it on the back.

  • Today we began to put together a second gear system to put a second set of stilts to put on the back. As a temporary solution to its ability to overcome obstacles that the stilts can go over but the wheels cannot, we put one large wheel on the back.

  • Here are the pictures from today:

     

 

  • We've started the basic buid of our robot and are at the moment trying to figure out some build issues. We have two robot projects at the same time. One's method of transportation is rotating stilts, and we are still trying to figure out how to build it so the stilts will work. Our other robot has simple tank-type treads, and we aren't working on it very much because at the moment we have no goals for it. The stilt robot has durability issues, as well as motors that aren't strong enough to move the stilts so that they can lift the robot. In order to contiune work on it, we'll have to figure out a way to improve its strength.
